Head In The Clouds

It has been somewhat of an exhausting week........MENTALLY........wondering, are our heads in the clouds?   Leaving our daughter and son, our grandson, family and friends........our comfort zone here at the farm.........WHY?

My mother says it is because Sherry and I are......Gypsies!

I think it may be that "off the wall" approach to life that we share and have shared for 35 years.  It is going to be hard leaving, but to tell you the truth......the wait to start our journey has been unnerving, stressfull, scary and at times, downright crappy.......as the Tom Petty song goes, "The Waiting Is The Hardest Part".   Sherry reminds me all to often, we should have headed back to Zancudo in April.

I needed to clean up some of my mess here at the farm though, goats needed to be sold, downsize the chicken population.......which wasn't that big of a problem when the Coyote showed up for the poultry buffet!  Bottom line, we needed to downsize our home......we are almost there, just a few things left to sell.  So,  all that is left is to spend time with our family and friends until we see them in Costa Rica.

The picture was taken just south of Cerro de la Muerte (Death Mountain) on our way to Playa Zancudo   via the Central American Highway in January 2010.  Our heads were in the clouds many times that day.
Pura Vida!
